Japan: 四姊妹偵探團, 交涉人, 貧窮男子, 篤姬
The detective flavor enlights my appetite. 50% of the above (Bones, House, Numb3rs, 四姊妹偵探團, 交涉人) fall into this category. CSI falls out the list due the big disappointment from the previous seasons. I was still really looking forward to CSI-LV, but it turned out the "mini-model killer series" was dragging for too long. So this is the end of it.
I am also in for shows hilighted by sarcasticism. Bones and House are definitely this league. I am expecting Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle, the successors of Sex and the City, are full of funny quotes as well.
The two biggest enemies of feminism, fashion and love, can be found in The L word, and also supposedly Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle. I am looking at/for the reference of my future in these shows composed of women with beauty and brain desire for work/life balance in big cities. And by balance, I don't only mean the equal 50/50 tie. No matter what is the choice of the percentage, it is never any easier to balance. Yet still there are so many ingredients in "life," how to figure it out, make an execution plan and execute it are again open problems. The only thing we know is the answers change from time to time, person to person, which is true and important, but not helpful at all.
篤姬 is about mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship. I am expecting something new from the old plot.
I am not quite sure if 貧窮男子 is 貧窮貴公子 type of story. I hope it is funny. Otherwise, I won't spend time on this no-brainer.

Bones:
1. I know eventually Bones will date Booth... but I really don't think he is good enough for her.
2. Who is my favorite character? Bones. (I know, the answer is so typical...)
House:
1. House and Cuddy will be a good match... but what about the "good guy" Wilson? Keep on the rescue missions by dating the dying (physically or mental) people?
2. Are Cameron and Chase gonna break up as they did in the real life?
3. Please, please, don't let anything bad happen to #13. She is my only correct bet. (My bet was on Mr Big Love, cut throat bitch, and #13.) Ah... I still hate the result... why to keep the always-screw-up Kutner, and the boring plastic surgeon Taub? I don't like that Dr. Big Love agreed to corner Kutner to get Cuddy's pantie for House. That kind of destroyed his image of high moral standard. And the fact that Foreman came back kind of even out his advantage of being black. I guess that's why he is out. I hate the cut-throat-bitch as everyone else in the show, but she is a good doctor. As for the show, she is more dramatic than the eventually-will-blow-up-the-hospital Kutner. Maybe it is a lesson of a good heart is more valuable than a good brain, and black out-weight female.
4. Who is my favorite character? Season 1-3: Cameron, Season 4: Cuddy and #13 (Cameron is no longer that charming when she becomes blonde.)
The L Word (Season 5):
1. I didn't dislike Paige, just she is not as impressive as Carmen. Single moms with intolerably obsessive and stubborn boys are everywhere. So what? If Carmen is back to the show, let's get some smooth transition to make things right. Maybe turn Paige straight?
2. Jenny... just keep floating on the sea. All your friends are pissed, so am I.
3. Alice and Tarsha are a weird combination. They are the opposites, but they don't really complete each other. No more comments. Oh. Alice will be rich with the help of Max and Grace. And I think Max will not take the surgery even he has the money. Grace loves him the way he is. (Ah, I know this slogan is kind of old after BJ's diary. But it still catches me every time so far.)
4. Papi... sorry, the only woman you really love and want is the only one you can't get. Kit is as straight as one can be.
5. The principal and the lawyer... I don't know, happily-ever-after? Just don't preach the others any more. Though sometimes it is cool.
6. Helena is not blonde, but is stupid as one. Listen to your friends. Your current relation is a big scam.
7. Last, but the most important - Bette, please... don't fxxxed up this time! What happen to the wise, brave, responsible, sexy and cool Bette who can stick up to a relationship for 8 years? Yes, you betrayed Tina, that's wrong but that doesn't mean you need to compensate her by betraying another wonderful, probably better, lady for her. If you have to do it, at least be honest with Jodi. You don't like her to flirt the other women in front of you. Then do you think she likes that you mess up with your ex-wife behind her back? Please, choose someone who can ride with you, not live up to you.
8. Who is my favorite character? Season1-3: Bette, Season 4: Bette and Jodi. Season 5: Jodi only?

2. The plot along Don's relationship is too routine. Please either something new, or just let it be nothing.
